Bill Van Gee
Bill Van GeePainting & Glass
A long-time hand at the marina, Bill got his start with a summer job at Sill’s while he was still in college. In addition to his expertise with Imron paint jobs and fiberglass & structural repairs, Bill brings a wealth of local history (and some great stories about the Stu Sill days) to our community. He also builds and races ice boats, was a former high school teacher, and served as Deputy Mayor for the Village of Sodus Point!

Brett Klem
Brett KlemMechanic
Brett grew up on the water and around boats, and was smart enough to pursue a career in the field he loves. A Yanmar-Certified Mechanic, Brett is the man to see when you’re having engine troubles, or if your engine just isn’t running as it should. He spends his free time restoring and piloting high performance Hydrostream boats, and he fondly remembers a near blowover with his Hydrostream at almost 90 mph!

Chris Collins
Chris CollinsDock Attendant
We welcomed Chris Collins to the Katlynn family after he started a refit on a Columbia 24 that was sitting in his backyard. He wanted to work with people who could teach him about sailing, and quickly found our marina. Since then he’s been a reliable hand on the docks and at the gas dock, and he’s been a great help to many a boater. He spends most of his free time sailing, or playing his guitar and producing his own music.
